Two months after The Governor's failed attack on the prison, it seems as if things are finally looking calm in this part of Georgia. With the monster gone and all threats seemingly non-existent, survivors of the apocalypse are able to find their old sense of routine and just.. normalcy. However, not everyone is as blindly optimistic. While some have found a new place to belong, others are still reeling over losses and constantly checking over their shoulders, not feeling at home just quite yet.
For some, the prison will always be just that-- a prison. A cage. A tomb to be held in safely and watered down 'life' until their death. This is causing some tensions not only in this camp, but others where the survivors are naturally starting to fall into two separate mentalities: "relax and enjoy life", and "never let your guard down".
The ones ignored for being 'high strung', are the ones who are right.
Unbeknownst to anyone, the disease itself is changing. Like any other pathogen, it is evolving as time goes by and it is getting ready to strike again with a force never before seen in the apocalypse. Soon it will be a literal virus- attacking not with bites to flesh but from the inside out.. And it won't be the way you think it is.
