Hey there! Welcome to Minute Chances! I hope you'll have an awesome time creating characters, making friends, and expanding the world of Gaia's Wake with your own content and exploration. The below guide should give you a good place to start in terms of learning what you need to know and creating your own little piece of our world. If you have any questions or need help, please use the Chatango found at the bottom of the forum. A staff member or experienced member should be able to help you there, but if not, don't be afraid to PM a staff member.

Thank you so much for becoming a member of our community and we hope to keep you company for as long as you wish to stay!

Since having so much material may be a bit daunting to new members, I've included this easy listing of things you should read/do!

1. Read the FORUM RULES. This thread will keep you out of trouble. Includes the forum's maturity rating.
   
   
2. Next, go to this to introduce yourself! Tell us a little bit of everything about who you are, your hobbies, etc.
   
   
3. Read WHAT A PLAYER SHOULD KNOW. It will give you the skinny on basically everything you need to know about the context of the roleplay. Since this is an original setting, the small details can get lost pretty easily in the big picture. Refer here if you have a question about the way Gaia's Wake works.
   
   
4. Start your CHARACTER APPLICATION. Now, you're going to need a few resources to fill it out. If you're having trouble picking a virtue, refer to this thread here and read up on them. Not sure if you want to start your journey in Miracle or The Wilds? The Miracle is more for organized plots while The Wilds leaves more free-form plot opportunities open to the player. Don't worry though, both will have their own events, and choosing one or the other DOESN'T stop you from being in both! For a description of each, check the GLOSSARY OF TERMS. If you still need help with filling out the application, give a staff member a shout or just shout in the box made for shouting, found at the bottommost section of the forum.
   
   
5. Once you're accepted, make a Thread Tracker, which is explained here.
   
   
6. There's nothing left to do but start roleplaying! Post a thread in either Miracle or The Wilds and start your story!
