Type: Person of Importance
Alias: Rocky
Virtue: Benevolentia
Descriptive Blurb: In her past life, Rocky was a 'not-your-average' variety of teenage girl, preoccupied less with her school studies or expanding her social circle as indulging with her hobbies and bonding with online friends. If she could have given herself a personal title, it would be something along the lines of 'Chatroom Stalking Movie Junkie,' which comprised her two favorite things; coming home after a long day of terrible, boring, awful, judgmental schooling and hopping on the PC to check her favorite chat sites (of which she frequented many of all manner unusual circumstances) or play one of her favorite cinematic gems. The favorite of which was, in relation to the one thing she remembered most clearly post-Rebirth, the Rocky series. She could never decide if it was the melodramatic sequences or the canned delivery by a Mr. Sylvester Stallone that drew her to the franchise more, but the posters and action figures around her room were testament to her nearly ritualistic praise toward the films.
Outwardly, Rocky portrays herself as outgoing and bubbly to the extent of obvious feigned naivete; she adopts an almost childish demeanor around the people she likes, because she feels most comfortable when thing don't matter and she can be silly. She would appear to be someone who would attract people to her, but she happens to be picky about the company she keeps, so when most of the groups in school didn't cut it for her, she decided to remain congenial acquaintances with everyone. She was never an outcast; in fact, she was popular in a great many groups, but saw herself as a 'lone wolf', a concept she likely picked up from watching 1980s teen flicks. Rocky takes the position of 'mascot motivator' in the scavenging group she calls her post-Rebirth family. Though she is actually a black belt in martial arts, from a childhood of having an overly protective father and a battered mother, she rarely employs her abilities in combat against beastkind, leaving most of the action to her father-figure, Grope, and her uncle-figure, Malachai.
Rocky has dirty blonde hair and freckles, a height of five foot six and a weight between 80 and 180 (she'd rather you not know.) She was Reborn wearing house-clothes, having been killed instantly when a meteorite impacted her home in Kansas, and retained charred versions of the same clothes and a jacket with cat-ears on the hood.
Location: The Wilds
Type: Person of Importance
Alias: Grope
Virtue: Industria
Descriptive Blurb: In his past life, Grope was a middle-aged, working class butcher in Detroit. His life was very small and uneventful in the grand scheme of life, and internally, he may have wished for a future similar to the one he received in being Reborn. However, he did not bargain for losing his arm as part of his Vice, which he required days of rehabilitation to overcome, which he received in the form of a Dominican woman named Dolly who was able to keep him calm and assure him things would turn out for the best. Grope and Dolly were Reborn near an Yggdrasil and seven others, three of which ventured away from the Yggdrasil and into a cave system of the Rocky Mountains to find shelter. Dolly and Grope listened to Gaia's Decree and appreciated the Yggdrasil for its worth, remaining on its grass and living off its fruit until they were strong enough to venture out into the Wilds. They survived as a duo until meeting up with the others that would eventually round out their scavenging group.
Grope and Dolly formed a substantial sibling-type relationship of trust in the month that they were a pair, though the others in the group refer to them as the mother and father despite their age difference. As the original male leader, the others look up to Grope for guidance and direction, and he, with Dolly's advice, gives the orders on where to go and what to do next. However, as a man who once relied on his financially secure wife for both bill payment and familial decisions, Grope has the tendency to become intimidated by women, something he had to overcome after meeting Dolly. The two do not have the same rift they once did, but often he relies on her for more than an elected leader of the group should. Grope named himself Grope because he recalled being something of a lecher in his youth, something he lost when he met his wife. So, in order to celebrate freedom from, and freedom to meet other woman despite his intimidation, he named himself Grope. Dolly also thought it was fitting, considering how he must feel around with his other arm to steady himself, still getting used to balancing.
Grope is a 6' 5" African-American with a penchant for cracking terrible jokes and a predisposition for fighting beastkind.
